Education is one of the things that affect a country’s development. With good education, people will have good human resources such as knowledge, skill, attitude, etc. With these abilities, people can make their country more advanced, it’s because they can make changes by giving new innovations for their country.
Therefore, every country have a different education system. All of this aims that they can create the next generations who have good quality. As an example, I will show you the comparison in the education system in Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. Let’s check it out..
1. Starting age of primary education
In Brunei, primary education starting from kindergarten, when children are 5 years old.While, in Indonesia, the primary education starts in elementary school when the children are 6 or 7 years old.

There are many similarities between Indonesia and Brunei at this level of education.

In Brunei, since third grade in elementary school, students have been directed to master English as the official language of instruction in school other than Malay. Some subjects as Mathematics and Geography are taught using English. While, in Indonesia, English is only taught as a subject.
